Lejeana Anliker, MS, NCC, LMHC
Lejeana is the clinical supervisor of the Spencer office. She has a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and is a Nationally Certified Counselor. She has been working as a counselor in Iowa since 2010. Lejeana enjoys working with people to enhance skills they already have, as well as developing new tools to help them feel better. Lejeana understands sometimes it feels like things will never be different, and she is committed to helping clients make changes to improve their situations. She has experience working with adults and children who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma and behavioral concerns. Jeana is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She provides counseling in individual, family, and group settings. One of the reasons she chose Catholic Charities as her workplace is the commitment of the agency to help people in need. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. She also loves to knit and crochet and usually can be found working on a project. Lejeana approaches therapy from the perspective of “Everybody is doing the best they can”, but sometimes people are lacking in skills or need more support to use those skills to create positive change in their life. “That’s where I come in – to help people make those adjustments, try something different and find what will work for them”.
