Benita Triplett, LISW

Benita has worked in the behavioral health human service field, serving underserved populations for over 29 years. She received her Master’s Degree from The University of Iowa and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Iowa. She has experience providing crisis intervention as well as mental health therapy services to adults, children, and families, as well as in group therapeutic settings. For the past 10 years, she has worked in the community offering geriatric mental health care services, mentoring others to obtain independent social work licensure and facilitating community crisis debriefings. Benita has a passion for assisting individuals and families to enhance their wellbeing with special attention focused on those who are most vulnerable. In her spare time, Benita enjoys spending time reading, traveling with family, cooking, exercising, and connecting with spiritual leaders. Benita believes everyone has a gift by design and finding and walking in your purpose is achievable.
